Its the tag on the inside of the glovebox door. Service parts identification. Tells what options the truck came with from the factory.

then there is a build sheet that is under the seat but f your seat is not original to your truck, chnces are it is long gone build sheets tell more then your spid

It's sandwiched between the seat cushion foam and the metal springs underneath. Usually need to pull the seat to get it out in one piece.

So I gotta pull the seat, cut the cover and foam, pull the foam back and its between the foam and springs, is it on the drivers side, near the middle or toward the passenger side or is it just a random placement between the foam and springs

It would be on the outside of the foam and cover. Under seat or behind seat. If you can't see it just from looking under the seat or behind the seat it aint there.

they most fften come out in peices and you have to tape em back up and put em together i foundout that my 67 was made in the morning of march6 1967 and found out my truck was made in fremont, califorinia and sent to san jose ,steven creek dealer ship
