67 72 power steering brackets vs 73 ^

i dont have a power steering pump yet but my dad has informed me that 67 72 comes down nad bolts with the motor mount ?? that is jack@$$!!!! but he said the square bodies had hem different can i use 73 and up if i dont want to have it bolt to the motor mount???

None of your pulleys will line up with 73-up long pump brackets.

BUY the correct 67-72 truck brackets for a short waterpump style, power steering pump.
Look in the classifieds or place a WTB ad.

I assume you have the correct pulleys and waterpump on your truck?

So you'll need the following for a short pump configuration.

Main crankshaft pulley
Secondary crank pulley
Water pump pulley
Power steering pump with reservoir
Power steering brackets (2 pieces)
Alternator brackets (2 pieces)

71-72 trucks used a slightly different ps pump bracket arrangement which was less prone to cracking than the earlier ones. Seek them out if you can find them.

thanks tx firefighter i have the bottom pullei i just dont have the water pump or powersteering pump or altenator
