Question for the experts????????

On my project truck that is finally going to get painted, I replaced both of the front Cheyenne super fenders with perfect fenders off a custom/10 truck. Not a custom deluxe, Just a custom.

My question is : Are the custom emblems mounted in the exact location as the Cheyenne emblems. I know that on a custom deluxe fender you can not put the super emblems in the deluxe location and have it look correct.

I can drill the holes for the super emblems on the fender that just has the holes for the custom/10 emblem, but I would like to make 100% sure that the Cheyenne and the custom/10 emblems are mounted in the exact location. Thanks…………….Jason.

Re: Question for the experts????????

As far as i know, they are in the same spot. You are correct about the deluxe and super emblems being in different spots. However, i am not an expert and have been wrong before... I know the truck you are building and would hate to wrong. Hope that helps...

Re: Question for the experts????????

Custom and cheyenne emblem are in same location, super is located higher than deluxe emblems, so yes it will work. Remember to align the super emblem correctly on the passenger side- always a "tell" for those that have created supers from regular cheyennes and others- they always seem to put the emblem to the front near the "e" instead of back near the "c" on the passenger side.
