1969 Blazer seats install

Took out the utillity bucket seats went to install my custom bucket seats and found out that the utility bucket seat tracks are longer had to drill new holes for the custom bucket seats. Then I looked under my 70 jimmy and it came with both sets of holes.

My '71 has two sets of holes also. Don't know why or when they did this. I've been comparing to the builds on this site as they come along, and it seems that some have them and some don't.

PS, the calendar is looking good in my man cave

Maybe they all came with the utility seat holes when the custom seats were order they add the hole for them.

Re: 1969 Blazer seats install

I think utility will match up with a bench seat in a pickup. I am welding in most of a pickup floor pan from a pickup from az in my blazer and it had the hole for my custom buckets just not the nut the other side has the nut. So I am sure they made them all for benches and then adjusted for the cst's
