Door window channel run

I am replacing the window channel , rubber wiper and felt . Do you have to remove the vent window assembley from the door to do this. How do you remove the channel from the back side of the vent window ? Can someone explain the process ? Thanks in advance .

Re: Door window channel run

It's a lot easier if you do. I think there are some small screws that hold it in but haven't swapped mine out yet. I need to swap all of that out on my truck especially with the cold weather we have right now.
