I could do all three pieces that you are asking for (housing/lens/pointer) in GM NOS in the packages for $80.*Sold* or could also offer you the same three in new repro for $30. Let me know if interested and I will get you some pictures. Happy Holidays, Mel

The only way I would know of to get the housing in green would be to paint it (see pics), they were all originally black on these tilts. Mel

Mel,

Just confirming that he housing is metal, black and does not need to be painted unless I want green. The indicator is glass and not plastic. Do you have gm part numbers for all three.

I do not have any GM NOS housings in pot metal, I do not think those have been around for a very long time, GM offered it in plastic only as a replacement part since at least '81. The NOS lenses I have are all plastic and still sealed in the GM bags as are the NOS pointers, I have never took apart or even seen one of these 71/72 auto tilts have a glass indicator lens. And yes, part numbers are on all of the original packaging. Mel

Jerry, I too have a chrome one ony my tilt, pulled it off of a wrecked 1968 Pontiac Lemans tilt.. Apparently it came from the factory chromed.

Hi Classic Bowties,

Been busy getting ready for Christmas. I finally looked at my lenses are plastic as well. I am going to try and clean and re-use my pot metal housing. Hoe much for the the NOS pointer shipped to 96003.

Thanks for your time and information.

Re: WTB "NOS" or very nice shift indicator housing

smorg007 is taking one of the below pictured GM tilt only indicator pointers, leaving four left that I am willing to let go of at this time. Those inline per order of pm if any other GM pointers should become available are: mikey71, gastrader35 and weller which leaves one available pending the three are taken/paid for. Mel

Hey Richard, no problem got ya down for one of them, I did'nt mean they were all sold except for one, I have only seen payment for two of them so far and gastrader35 may be passing. I will send your indicator pointer along with our other deal so no shipping charge on this one, I have sent you an invoice. Thanks again, Mel

Re: WTB "NOS" or very nice shift indicator housing

Four of the five available GM indicator pointers have been paid for and shipped out last week, two weeks have now passed and gastrader35 has'nt followed up on his end. Last one is back up for grabs and available as of today Jan. 9th. Mel
