I could you some help
With my 72 C10 V8 running at idle, when I turn on the headlights the fuel gauge drops below empty, turn signal indicators become dim when that specific signal is used. My alternator is at 15.6 volts at idle. I have a internal regulator alternator. I was thinking that my system is not getting regulated properly. With the truck running at idle without the lights turned on, when I select any turn signal the gas gauge goes below empty. What do you think...........

I think your cluster isn't grounded properly or your cluster isn't pinned correctly.
Did you switch from a dummy light cluster to a gauges cluster?

I changed the original style cluster electrical panel to the original configuration.

Sorry, I changed the cluster circuit panel that has the copper internal wiring for the instrument lights, turn signal indicators etc........

It sounds as of u have a bad ground. sheck those out first.

Ground the cluster. Small ground wire from cluster to a good ground under the dash.

i don't follow what it was you replaced, but if the interment panel was removed, then odds are you have a bad ground. Classic symptoms

Normal alternator voltage should 13.5 to 14.6 your 15.6 seems a little high
