I was forced to cut the square, too. I used a Dremel tool and a cut-off wheel. Turned out really good actually. Then just touch up the exposed metal with some paint. No one will even see it. Just mask off everything around it with a few layers of masking tape...in case your tool jumps. That will keep you from scratching the surrounding paint.

I did mine by drilling a hole and then filing it square. If your careful you won't mess up the paint, use masking tape as suggested.

67chevy, Call us here at Lokar toll free 877-469-7440. Ask for Jeff in Tech and he can help you out. With our throttle cables you will only drill one 5/16 diameter hole. our Throttle cables are cut to fit and come in Black, Stainless Steel and Black Stainless Steel with Black fittings. If you do chip your paint around we have a bezel trim washer also. You will need a spring return bracket to go with this cable for the carb side.

Thanks Impy
