Gas Tank Question

I am looking at getting a 40 gallon tank out of an '84 burb. Will that fit between the frame. I know I will have to notch the cross member for the bed.

Re: Gas Tank Question

I put a 31gal burb tank in my `70 C20 and I had to move the two rear crossmembers further apart. Here are a coupl of pics. I've had no problems with it in 9800+ miles. You can PM me if you have any questions.
