Walnut Grant wheel finishing tips?
Just got a new walnut Grant wheel...it's unfinished and I'm thinking about an oil rubbed finish. Any ideas on this? Products, etc.
Thanks

Re: Walnut Grant wheel finishing tips?
oil wood still leave the wheel porus, i believe it wood tend to stain your hands as well as allow your body oils to b abrorbed by the wheel and staining to occur
i'd seal with polyurathane, a couple of coats well thined first to soak deep in the wood followed by 2-3 coats unthined to fininsh it off
