they were all new parts used, and i double, and triple checked them before assembly.

im not sure i follow when you say "they will still grab". the shoes weren't wet, when i took it apart and they seemed to be reusable. and why would wet shoes cause only that side to have stopping power?

thanks everyone for putting up with me here. i'm not a fan of brake work, at all, and this is frustrating for me.
