1953 Chevy belair factory brakes...
1953 chevy belair 4dr 4wheel manual drum brakes
-New hardlines -New (3) soft rubber lines -4 New wheel cyls. -Honed/rebuilt MC Adjusted @ the MC correctly (7/16" between toeboard/top of pedel as per book) Havent messed with the adj. @ the bottom of the drums (Dunno really what im doing lol) The wheels dont roll like they should, We were having trouble with fluid comming back to MC and the pedel would lock up occasionally, you'd crack the bleeder screw and keep cruizin! So I adj. the brake pedel/linkage like the book said 7/16" and its better, but doesnt freewheel or anything like it should. I havent driven it since I did the adj. Do I need to drive it for a correct analysis? Or is the rest of the adj. @ the bottom of the drums @ the adj. star thing? Thank you! (Lolife, im hoping you jump in and help your good at this)

Re: 1953 Chevy belair factory brakes...
Anyone? They should freewheel, right?
Sound like an adj. at the wheels, or the MC pushrod still? Thanks
