Ok I need some help from the experts
Alright guys, I have a '63 Chevy 1/2 ton Long/Fleet. My dad and I have been talking about putting bags on my truck so I can cruise at stock height but when we go to the races or car shows I can set it down. I don't want to lay frame or nothing, just lower it as much as I can. So this question is for all you guys that know what you're doing.
I want to bag it but I DO NOT want to chop up the bed or frame for C-notches, so what is the lowest I can go without doing any of that stuff? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And if any of you guys have a truck or pics of a truck that's done like I wanna do mine then I'd love to see it. Thanks in advance |

Re: Ok I need some help from the experts
You could use a ECE 46/ drop kit and be low all the time, no c-notch.

Bagging your truck is simple .... it's all a bolt on situation.
Get some quality bags with internal bump-stop, and you could get nice and low, and not worry about hack'n the frame. Bolt on front plates/bags/cups and bags in place of coils in the rear. Good Luck

Not sure if this will help you but this one is bagged without any c notch, it does have drop spindles and Ridetech lower control arms so your bagged truck would sit a little taller in front but the rear axle tubes are sitting against the frame in the picture. He had about $850 in his complete airride parts not including the spindles and control arms.
