Good deal or ?
1972 GMC Custom 10 pickup truck, 305 motor, 3 speed automatic transmission, minor rust on rocker panel and floor, used up until June 2010, in running condition, great vehicle to restore or custom, $3000.
Looking for some feedback on this 1972. Sorry about quality of pictures and the lack of other various angles and interior shots. I haven't seen the truck. It is in an area of Newfoundland called Goose Bay Labrador where salt is not used on the roads and this area is noted for having some nice rust free vehicles. However they are being bought up quickly in the past few years. What I had in mind (if the price was right) was a resto-mod. using an 89 4X4 chassis and sportside bed with a 72 cab and front clip...........that's if its possible to do so. Please give me your opinions...........I appreciate them all. Thanks ! |

Re: Good deal or ?
It is more than i would pay for my area. Not sure how plentiful they are where you are. The 305 is not original. Also, is the hood dented up? or is that reflection? More pics would help. Of course if it is rust free, that is worth something.

Re: Good deal or ?
Not sure about the hood being dented but I think it is a reflection and
I haven't spoken to the owner yet. These years of pickups are indeed very scarce where I live. Most of them are long gone by now, so this one could be called a survivor ! However, $3,000.00 is too expensive for me pay considering what I want to do to the truck. Any further opinions on this? Thanks again |
