Re: WTB - NOS 73-80 upper grill trim

I'll take it, can you send me your PAYPAL info?

For S&G, do you have the lower, for 73-78, as well?

Just so I am clear, I am looking for the trim that bolts on above the grill, between the HL bezels.

Re: WTB - NOS 73-80 upper grill trim

Both my 1978 and 1985 print GM parts books and my 1996 Mitchel crash estimator book shows the upper grille moulding (grille outline trim that mounts to the sheet metal not grille) is part # 361117 upper and the lower grille trim (mounts on the lower painted panel is # 361118. This is for 73-78.
79-80 upper is #14000080 and 1400081.

This is for my '73. Need upper for sure, but would buy the lower as well if available.

Current mitchell screen shot for a 74 model grille (some reason 73 does not exist, had to go with 74, should be the same). #363176 is the lower in case you need that info.

Re: WTB - NOS 73-80 upper grill trim

Jeff.......Mark and I have been talkin on the phone about this. When I bought it, it was listed as a 1974 GMC Jimmy upper moulding. It has a "made in canada" sticker on it. measurements are 49 9/16 (full length) and 48 13/16 from the "drop beveled" spots. 7 studs on the rear for the attaching nuts.

I don't know if this will make any difference, but I know a guy who has a 1966 convertible malibu that was made in canada. Same car, just small subtle differences for some reason.

This moulding looks like what is used in these spots on the trucks.....Now I'm just wondering if it might be a bottom. Mark was going to measure one on a truck and let me know. Maybe if you have one sitting there you could do the same to clear up any confusion.......

Re: WTB - NOS 73-80 upper grill trim

Ok........go to ebay and look at auction number 350313139094. Lower moulding for a "1974 Jimmy". Shorter in length than what I have, which would be correct. His is in a plastic wrapper........mine came in a corrigated paper.

Matt, I think it will work, measurements come back OK...hopefully there will be no surprises. Do you have a lower by chance too? PM me your PAYPAL and a total. My zip is 55448.

Thanks again for the pictures!
