Re: Header fitment question
Thanks for all the info.
I'll probably just stay with the CPP perches. I have the short pump and the pulleys on the way anyway. Just hope I can keep the headers about 3" off the ground once it's completed. Too bad the Hedman 69830 headers won't work, these are pretty much flush with the bottom of the frame (by the way, I put these on ebay if anyone has a SBC with the stock perches). Kind of stupid for CPP to make perches that move the motor up and only have one set of headers that work with them. PLUS when I bought these, there was no mention that it would move the motor forward. The instructions basically say, raise the motor, remove the old, and install the new. A LOT more to it than that. It moves everything up!!! Glad I'm doing a complete build. These would have been a disaster to replace in a already built truck. Let me know on that measurement if you would Chillware. Thanks!

Re: Header fitment question
Sorry for the delay, i've been sick with the flu.. ugh! I finally got a chance to go measure the clearance.. I've got about 7 3/4" between the floor and the lowest part of the header right now.. I'm sure it'll close up some more when i get the full weight of the body on as well.

Re: Header fitment question
Thanks for taking the time to do that. Looks like we'll be fine. If I remember right, the cab, bed and everything else will only lower the truck another 1 to 1 1/2"
Thanks again...
