Ignitor 1 or 2

Wanting to upgrade to Pertronix now but didn't know whether to go for the first version or the second.

I run the original Ignitor and love it. The Ig. II apparently gives you more punch. Arguably, when you get to a point (especially with electronic ignition) your ignition related performance is pretty much absolute...meaning it either fires good or not at all.

I got mine from http://www.autoworks.cc/ Good luck.

Yes beer means many things to me that's all for now cus I gotta pee.

1 or 2.....my memory isnt with me(thats age I guess). I have run a couple different pertronix units, 1 was a Lobe sensor, & the other was a "flying magnet" type. The flying magnet setup is a little more work to set up initially, but i feel it responds better.....it also runs on full battery voltage. crazyL

Looks like I'll go for the 2. What is the cheapest/best place to get it?

I wish I could find the add but there is another brakerless point conversion i believe by crane that has the added feature of an rpm limiter and I search some of my catalogs without success. Hope someone else can help with the name, Mallory makes one also don't know anything about it sell for 99$. Speedway has the pertronix for $75 but doesn't say I or II good luck Edke6bnl
