Re: Worth the Effort?

I like the small window cabs.I think the small window stepside in 67 just screams old school.Of course I've never owned a PU of this era,so what would I know?My preference!!!

Re: Worth the Effort?

i bought my wife a 67 and i thinking i like it better than my 71 and the small window is one of the reasons. People don't have to look at my fat head in the window it is more private and if they shoot at you from behind they will have to try harder to hit ya

Worth the effort?----I think so,when i see a small back window on a 67 chevy i think of old trucks.Because most old trucks had small back windows.

The neat thing about collector cars, and cars in general, is the differences that occurred from year to year. Many changes were very subtle, but some were readily distinguishable.
I think the small back window and no marker lights are what make a 67....well, a 67.
Just like the divided back glass on a '63 vette, some didnt like them, but nearly anyone knows its a '63. Cool stuff, there.
I like my small window 67 because that's what it is. I also like each of the 67-72 models because of the differences in the models.
It would be much less fun hobby if all 67-72 models had been exactly the same, IMO

Re: Worth the Effort?

Fell in love with the big window and bought a 67 small window because the price was right. Now I love em both. Small window looks great on my stepside but I still love that big window too. Build it for you!

Re: Worth the Effort?

like what has been said only summarized 67 links the old style with the new,it keeps its own style and do to all the differences that they have ,knobs fenders ,cabs ,tailgates and other stuff that doesnt really match a 68 ,and def. not 69 72 !!!

Re: Worth the Effort?

never will be decided...ha ha...like the small window cause it gives you privacy to get your smoke on and drink your gin and juice without the cops seeing...but seriously didn't like it at all til I owned one and it a fleetside, now I think I like it better
