Guage Printed Circuit ??
My 86swb has 2 guages (oil pressure, volts) that recently quit. I was thinking about checking the printed circuit. How hard is it to pull the cluster to access it? Am I just looking for a burnt area or breaks in the wires? Any info is appreciated.

Is a 5 minute job to pull it all out if you know what you're doing, 10 minutes if it's the first time.
Did both gauges die at the same time?

None of my gauges work, Fuel, Oil, Temp, Volts. Mine I think are because the wires to the sensors are cut

Just a suggestion;might check for a bad ground as well.
Agreeing that it takes about 10 minutes the first time to pull the cluster. After that it takes as long as you can turn a phillips screwdriver for the bezel and a nut driver for the cluster. Of course, my gauge problems were created before I bought this truck. I was told it had sat for a winter and at some point some mice moved in and lived, quite comfortably it appeared, in the gauge wiring. Just remember to disconnect the speedometer cable when you get there before trying to pull the cluster out. (I got 'educated' that day. Now I have a book.) Mark

about 10min job mine stopped working took it out noticed a corner torn and got it fixed by a guy basically a clear sheet with copper lines running through it

i'm going from a bad memory here. i repinned one from a 91 burb (electronic speedo) for my 85 when i did my 5.3 swap. it seems like there were 4 ground pins altogether. my guess is you have one bad one. could be a burned circuit on the printed sheet but i'd say broken/loose/corroded wire. follow the printed circuit from the 2 gauges. if they run to the same power supply/ground then your problem is likely in that wire. hopefully that helps you out.
