Pics for The German,...

Here a picture of my disc brake master cylinder on my '69.
I did a drum-to-disc conversion and used a manual disc brake M/C.
Yours will be the same except it has a booster.

Here's my thread:

Hi !

That picture would help me very much!

You dont have use the port for the right front brake?

Please look at the attachment...than you know what i mean!

So i think that you use the original brake line were the right and left coming through and fitted with the "T" screw at the frame?!

lolife99, Make sure you pull that plastic plug out of the brass proportioning valve and plug it off with a brass plug. Otherwise brake fluid will spirt out that spot. WES

Which plastic plug?
The "extra" front brake line port has a brass plug in it.
I've driven this truck and have no leaks.

Awww!! I see now. The plug in it looks like one of the clear plastic ones that come with some of those brass prop valves. WES

Re: Pics for The German,...

Hi guys!

I have another problem...

I have a 1/4" brake line with 7/16" thread nuts...but the thread at the proporting valve is 3/8".

And the 3/8" nuts doesnt fits on my 1/4" brake line!

Any proposals?!

Re: Pics for The German,...

See the two adapters in my picture?
You will need these adapters or a different tube nut.
The adapters are the quick fix.

Re: Pics for The German,...

I can't get my slow "dial-up" service to open the Speedway Motors site.
I'm not sure what is wrong.
You need a IFM to IFF adapter.
(Inverted Flare Male to Inverted Flare Female adapter)
