Another Original Radio Question?
How does an Orginal Radio's mount to the Dash on the front? I know there is a bracket in the back, but how does it mount to the front of the Dash? Does it just sit in the wholes, or is there a bushing that screws onto the knobs to secure it better to the dash?
Please let me know. Thanks,

Re: Another Original Radio Question?
There are metal "cups" which sit in the holes and the radio stems go in them. Nuts then go on stems and hold the cups to the front of the dash and the radio. The bracket in back is important too.

Re: Another Original Radio Question?
The rear bracket is not reproduced, and is a little hard to find.
I was able to get one from the for sale section here on the board. Don't forget to use the proper speaker for the OEM radio!

Re: Another Original Radio Question?
I don't know if they are reproduced, but I am sure that one of the Board members would have some used . You could post a want to buy but you have to be a subscribing member ($25 cost to join). I don't have any extras to offer you.

Re: Another Original Radio Question?
Correct.
Call these guys to get your proper speaker. http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm Using a modern speaker will damage your old radio.
