What did you get done 1/16/11 edition

Re: What did you get done 1/16/11 edition

Split and hauled some firewood to the house from the crib to add to the stack in preparation for very colder temps forecast for next week. Even got to spend some time out in the shop. Finally a sunny day and nature raised the solar temps to 60 degrees inside with outside temps in the 20's.

Didn't do much else except start the truck to let it run and worked with WD-45 on loosening up these vent windows I've accumulated this winter. Another project pending.

One of these is to replace the driver's side where the lower pivot broke a while back.

Day off tomorrow so just enjoying the quiet tonight.

Re: What did you get done 1/16/11 edition

not a whole lot, I did build a sub box, and finished installing the trim and made some lower door panels for my dually. I also test fit my 88-98 cab lights, not sure if I'm going to use them.

Re: What did you get done 1/16/11 edition

walked Ponoma Swap - parts chasing. Several very nicely finished square bodies in the display section. Pick-up 6-3/4" balancer, Moroso spark plug wires, roller rockers, cast Al covers, and etc. Nice day for walking the swap (78F) - loads of people!

Re: What did you get done 1/16/11 edition

Well I have the front suspension completly off and I'm cleaning up the frame and fender wells. Glad that was easy. Now to clean up the A arms and so on. Nice that the weather is gettin better, the fog is clearing up by noon. Still has nothing to do with me waking up at 530. Mental ilness is a terrible thing.

Re: What did you get done 1/16/11 edition

Sold my S10 Blazer project (had it since 1992), now I can concentrate on the (5) squares. Brought the last bit of my stuff (some of it since 1980) out of the family barn and put it in my barn. Painted 1/2 my front room. Discovered a bad pulley on my diesel rather than the bad rod I thought I had (serious win.. although a $200 pulley isn't much cheaper than replacing the engine).
