Gas Tank Removal
How do I get the grommet off to get the tank to slide into the cab in order to pull it out?

if it's all hard and cracked it's better to just cut it off with a razor knife and get a new one . if it looks ok and is reusable use liquid dishwash soap as a lubricint and carefully pry the lip from the inside of the cab outwards then slide it up and off the neck of the tank

I pulled my tank through the cab with the grommet on it.Isprayed it with WD-40 and pryed the cap end of the grommet up around the lip of the tank.That way I didn't pry on the paint.
