'71/'72 Grille Bowtie Question?

Is there any other emblem from a later year or maybe big truck that has a yellow insert instead of blue? I know they were yellow in '73, but is there one that looks right in a '72 grille? Thanks Jim

you can take it apart and paint the center bowtie and then reinstall it in the chrome housing.

Yeah, but I want it to look more factory than that if possible. Thanks Jim

If I may make a suggestion..

Check out some craft stores for some metallic tape or ribbon,
They usually have interesting symmetrical designs.
You can open the emblem, remove the blue, and place in the metallic tape.
An overlay of yellow.. maybe an acetate, or even a permanent marker will do.

Just a thought..

Never thought to paint the blue from the inside! Now I need to see what one looks like from the back!
