Re: Your first 67-72 pics
Bought my first 72 k20 after i sold my 71 Chevelle in the summer of 2008 when i was 20. The body was worse than rough but the frame was solid, so i found the 72 GMC 1500 the next month drove it for a year then swapped the body on the k20 summer of 09. I love these old trucks and have wanted one since i was 15! I'm sure I'll have a nice collection of 67-72's someday

Re: Your first 67-72 pics
This thread got me interested in trying to find old photos of my 68 C-10. It has been in the family since new, which is a few years before I was born. I probably flipped through three or four thousand photos, but could not find a single one of the truck. What a disappointment. At least I got a lot of chuckles from other photos I found along the way, so it still was worth it. I bet my uncle or cousin has some old photos of the truck somewhere, so maybe I will try their albums next.

First one, just got is last year. It's coming along.
Chevyman - that sequence was cruel. What a fall from grace.

Re: Your first 67-72 pics
Anyways;
This truck was my grandpa's when new, then it was just a work truck, then my mom drove it to college everyday through the early 90s, I drove it all through high school during the late 90s, then it sat. Here it is now, but with a swb frame. |

Re: Your first 67-72 pics
took me awhile to figure out what you were talking about. I was trying to hook up a come along to a big branch so i could hoist the cab off, I didn't want to wait for 4 or 5 buddies to show up and drink all my beer in the process.
