Need Jet-Hot coated header info
I've seen this posted a hundred times, but can't use the search feature. Who sells a good pair of coated headers specifically for my truck? (small block chevy, TH350 tranny) Thanks!

Randy, I have Hooker Super Comps on the same combo as you that used to be coated along time ago. It wore off. I don't know the age though. The cheapest ceramic price I have seen are Flow tech made by Holley. $199 at Autozone. Dynomax are about $225 at Jegs. Hedman also fit good I believe. Chevelle shorties by hedman if you are lowering seem to be popular. Let us know what you get!......Jim

I have headmans for my truck and I love them. Priced good and I've seen them on several trucks at shows and no discoloring. They are full lengths and are slightly noticable under the truck, but not bad.

yes the hedmans will b a problem i have a 21/2/4 drop and can't pull in/out of lots of driveways or off the shoulder of a road forget about speedbumps and if you pit potholes all i can say is good luck!! the whole collector section of the header is below the frame rail

I'm now thinking about getting the Flow Tech's by Holley. Has anyone here used them?

Randy, I've got the regular, un-coated flowtech headers....great fit...slipped right in.......they do hang below the frame about 2"....but other then that...i'd buy another set........i wish i'd had the money for the coated ones....i just like the look and the protection factor of those....
