OK, I am a shadetree mechanic at best, maybe just a parts hanger even but I have flat out never heard of a dual fuel engine for civilian use. I know some advanced military engines run on more than one fuel but they don't change how they run to do it.

So is this ad on CL pure bull twinkies or what?

I have seen a 4 cyl gas/diesel eng in an old road grader. Had a dist, intake, carb, spark plugs on one side of the head and an injector pump and nozzles on the other side. Start er on gas, after she warmed it ran on diesel. Havn't heard anything about Chevy producing one. I believe the 4 cyl was a Fiat-Allis.

Seems to me that he either has a GMC Toro-flow diesel or just a regular GMC V-6. I doubt it's both. I know neither of those engines were ever offered in a Chevy.
