Finally got my Tachometer Installed! take it a look!

hey guys well i finally got my tach working
it took me about 45 minutes to get it all done
whta do you think??

the truck has a hornet alarm system and i just realized everytime i lock it or unluck it my tach ligths just like my parking lens , im very happy with it

here are a couple of pics i just took in the afternoon the paint looks much better than how it is

I like it, minus the giant hose clamp.

You can get aircraft clamps without all the little ribs, or you can paint that one black. They also sell nylon clamps that will work as well.

can you tell me where to get an aircraft clamp
ill be happy to try one of those
yea i know looks ugly the hose clamp but that was all i had at the time

Heavy duty double sided tape will do the trick will look really clean too. It wont scratch up your column either.

Whats the story with the gauges, was this truck originaly sold in Mexico?

Dude , The hose clamp tach mount is retro, Don't change it, That is the way we did it back in the day.

it was originally sold in Mexico , frenos means brakes
this is how they came out of the dealer here in Mex

It's weird that half of labels are in Spanish and metric and the other half is in English. were all Mexican Chevys bilingual?

Looks like it is time to upgrade the gauge lighting... your tach kind of over powers the others.
