power brake set-ups
The PO had power brkes installed and I'm wonder if he used the right MC. With all drums shouldn't the two "wells" of the MC be the same size? Also when applying the brakes w/ 4 drum set-up the size of the MC rod determines the amount of pressure to the front and back, right? Anybody have pics of theirs that was original power brake booster/mc w/ 4 drums?

I put a disc brake Dana 44 under my truck but the MC and booster are all still original on my truck. I will take pics tomorrow and post pics here.

The 2 wells are the same size (small) on the 67 power brake setup with drums. I'm still using the same set up since 86 now with mine and have had no problems. Im running all disks now.

I'm not sure what booster that is...it was in the truck when I purchased it. I just went out there and couldn't find a single indicator as to the manufacturer or the model on the booster. I've seen several that look similar to it in the catalogs.
One thing to keep in mind, and I should have mentioned this in my first post, I have a 1 ton rear (14 bolt) with drums and in the front I have a dana 44 with disc brakes. Glad the picture helped... Ken
