57 Chev pickup wiper motor, anybody know about these things?
Mine runs but very slow. It won't move the wiper arms but runs and parks normally with the wiper arms disconnected.
Anybody out there that rebuilds these things or re-winds the motors? |

maybe pull the wiper shafts out, clean them up alittle and ad a little grease or antisieze to them it mite help or atleast ya will know if its the motor itself kind of binding up or just needs rebuilt or replaced

checked the shafts that the wiper arms mount on, they're free and easy turning. any other ideas?

I put brushes in one of those many many years ago. Like to have never got it back together, but it worked better. Just sayin', brushes may help.

I am using the Raingear kit. Pricey but very nice. Transmissions are much more heavy duty than the stock ones.
