My project

Hey guys im new to the forum and plan on being a regular here because i have a 1967 c10 shortbed my grandpa passed down to me that he was using as a farm truck, which isnt in great shape but i plan on restoring it. I just wanted to get some opinions on it. Well its a 67 shortbed project it has a mildly built 327 with a factory 4 speed and factory 4.11 gears, because it says so on the build sheet in the glove box which i will try to get some pictures up of next time we go to our farm. I just wanted to know if this was a unique combo or not, also i noticed the rear window is small instead of the large one that takes up most of the back of the cab on some trucks, can anybody tell me what that difference is called? i only have 2 pictures of it currently but plan on getting a ton more soon. Tell me what you think honestly (from the 2 pictures that show hardly anything) what you guys think of the truck. thanks

Re: My project

Welcome to the forum. Your truck looks great. First mod, IMHO, would be to get rid of the rubber fuel line, unless of course you have lots of insurance.

Re: My project

Welcome to the board! It looks like a great project! In '67 the small back window was standard, or you could get the optional large back window (panoramic) as an option. This big back window became standard in '68. You should post up some more pics when you get time.

Re: My project

Welcome to the forum.

Good looking truck.

It looks like the bumper is from a '71 or 72 which could be a good thing if you want to put fog or driving lights in it.

Re: My project

Hey thanks for pointed that about about the bumper Shyguy i never noticed that, but i do kind of like it. And thanks for clearing that up about the window dave. The bumper will have to be replaced though because i mayyyyy have slowly bumped into a pole with the truck when i was 14.. haha
