What is this port for?
I just got my new brake proportioning valve put on and realized there is an extra port on top of it. What is this for? Do I need to find a plug for it? Surely the little plastic thing that is in it won't work.

I believe that is an extra port. Just get a nice brass plug at the hardware store and put it in. LockDoc

Re: What is this port for?
Maybe this will help? Probably used for a different set up you should check online and or with the manufacturer/seller...

Re: What is this port for?
That port is for splitting the right and left front brake lines. Basically it replaces the "T" joint at the frame. Use it or the original "T", either way is fine.

Re: What is this port for?
Mine does also, and I *think* it's original. The truck was just five years old when I bought it.

Re: What is this port for?
Picked up a plug at Oreilley's for a buck sixty. Problem solved. One step closer to it moving! Thanks again. More questions coming soon.
