Anybody bought Ecklers Body Panel Parts???
I'm looking to purchase some new sheetmetal (2 fenders, hood & rad support) for my '67 and I should be able to get like 20% off at Ecklers. I called Ecklers to ask who the manufacturer is and they said all they could tell me is where the "origin" of the parts came from:
Fenders: from VA $159 ea - 20% Hood: from GA $470 - 20% Radiator Support: forgot to ask origin $220 - 20% Anybody have any 1st hand experience on fenders/hood/rad support from Ecklers? I don't want to save a few bucks and spend twice as much getting them to fit right like I've read all over this forum. BTW, I know Goodmark is out of GA so maybe the hood is Goodmark. No clue who VA could be.

I've not used them, but here's a thread I found about them. It is dated, so I'm not certain if they have improved or not...

Re: Anybody bought Ecklers Body Panel Parts???
Thanks guys!
I did a bunch of searching but there's no feedback on the Ecklers stuff except time delays. Wish I could find some decent OEM stuff, but us South Florida guys have slim pickings.

Re: Anybody bought Ecklers Body Panel Parts???
Are you able to pick the stuff up directly at Ecklers, or do they drop ship it? I wouldn't mind the delay if you could just go pick the stuff up when it comes in, but when it is shipped direct, that seems to muddle the process.

Re: Anybody bought Ecklers Body Panel Parts???
I don't think they stock much of anything. I resently purchased some door arm pads and the quality was terrible, had to return them, still waiting for them to be picked up. Apparently who ever they buy from ships directly to you and if there's a problem they issue a pickup. Ecklers acted just like a middle man. I will say their customer service department was very concerned and helpful.

Re: Anybody bought Ecklers Body Panel Parts???
Yep, they are definitely the middleman and no pick ups. I remember last year I needed a bunch of stuff and called to see if I could pick up and it was a no go. But shipping from them is like dirt cheap to me I assume since we're in the same state, like $ $60 for 2 fenders, hood & rad support. Just would like to know what brand parts I'm getting with all the horror stories.
