Are these really CST mirrors?
These look cool. I've never seen a set. Are they factory? Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Are these really CST mirrors?
CSTs had the stainless mirrors and weren't 69/70 heads rectangular? Makes me wonder if the 3rd strike would be these might be repro.

Re: Are these really CST mirrors?
I have a '70 CST, it originally came with painted round mirrors. Originally were white, rust colored there. see picture. FYI the biggest of those boys is now in college!!

Re: Are these really CST mirrors?
Stuart,eh? I lived in Rio,then moved up along Indian River Drive in Walton back in 78 or 79. I worked for Lydia Yacht. Nice place! And,thanks for settin' that straight. I guess the factory didn't offer brightwork mirrors and who knows what came with the rectangle heads. Ones I've had did,but must have been changed.

Re: Are these really CST mirrors?
Not to confuse the matter, but i have a original 1970 sales book that say you could get the big square side mirrors as an option. The type that mount in 3 places on the door. Shows them painted or stainless. they called it a "Below-eye-line mirror"
Oh, and we really like it here in Stuart, been here since '86 |

Re: Are these really CST mirrors?
I guess the stainless arms came out when they starting reproducing. Never paid much attention before. Kinda like the houndstooth bucket seat covers.
