White top break line
I've found a bunch of overall pic's but only a couple that really show detail. I would like to see more detailed pics of the exact brake line. On the outside, and how it's done for the inside.
There are lots of pics like this. But does anyone have any more pics like this? |

Re: White top break line
I have a ton of photo's of two tones, a lotof ways to skin this cat. I kind of like the last (2) that break at the back of the door. The way the factory does it leaves that little sliver of white under the door window and around the A-post which to me doesn't look quite right.
Here's a few...... Last edited by lakeroadster; 01-25-2011 at 05:39 PM. |

Re: White top break line
Don't stop. I love the overall ones, but the close up details are what I need.

Re: White top break line
Any detail pics? I would get some myself at a carshow, but it's winter and there aren't any shows.

Re: White top break line
That is my preferred way as well. I plan on doing it that way to mine, but I want to change to the 60-62(?) trim with the trim that goes under the back window for the break. I'm not a big fan of 2 paint lines just joining together.

Re: White top break line
Alan, that's what I was looking for. Two questions though.
Do you have any pics of the doors and how you did the gray to orange transition going to the interior? And it looks like you did it higher than the others. There doesn't seem to be any gray below the side windows. Is that correct? Thanks. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: White top break line
There were excelent pics of the factory stock paint at that link. Makes it even more obvious that Alan didn't do it the same way. I think I like his better, as it doesn't have the long line below the door windows.
