1 seater...how rare?

I've seen and heard that the passenger seat was an option in blazers and jimmys, and some were accidentaly factory ordered that way, especialy in '69due to salesmen not knowing. I bet if your passenger seat has diffrent mounting hardware from the driver you might have one! Does anyone have any pics or further info?

All blazers have diffrent passanger side mounts. Drivers side didn't tilt forward and the passangers side does. Not sure on blazers with utility seats, I think the passangers side still tilts for rear access.

Re: 1 seater...how rare?

I have a set of Untilitys and yes the pass side has the tilt forward. The first Blazer i had (71) had only one seat and it was a Utility bucket. this truck was a forestry truck and had unfourtantly been beat beyond recognition so it had to go!

Re: 1 seater...how rare?

by different mounting hardware i meant bolts that look like they came from a bolt bin or mixed and matched, compared to the driver side

big blue- did yours have holes in the passenger floor or was there info on the glove box?

Re: 1 seater...how rare?

it had holes in there for the pass and the back seat. the SPID was marked utility and the only other option was the top. was a 307, 3 spd, 4x4 truck.
