Ebay short step. My DREAM TRUCK.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...#ht_500wt_1182

This is my dream truck. With only a couple things i would change. Would have the spare tire on the drivers side rear fender.

Add PS, PB.

My favorite color, ORANGE, AND a White top. Love the White top. Favorite grill also.

I bought a short step in Texas last year that will be done in these same colors.

I doubt that it is original miles as he claims. But who cares? Its a clean, nice truck.

Please don't spend time bashing this guys truck. I like it and wanted to share it with stepside lovers like me.

Dang.

I am a fan of the 71-72 fleets, but that thing is awesome.

Re: Ebay short step. My DREAM TRUCK.

But Mike,it's not a '69! J/K (the grille looks more 69 than 70 to me). I'd love to have a plain and simple Stepside like that. If I lived in a salt-free climate that would be my daily driver. I'd even like one with a 6-banger. No matter what the seller claims,it does look like it didn't live a hard life and didn't require extensive work to bring it back to as we see it now. If I had that truck I'd have to get me one of those straw hats with the green window in the brim. That's how i picture the original owner.

Fantasy bidder time...I say in the $8-12g range (wouldn't win me anything,I know)

Re: Ebay short step. My DREAM TRUCK.

It is a nice truck, but damn, pull it outside and get some proper overall pictures. You have to wonder why someone who is serious about selling a truck won't put a little effort into making proper photos.

Agree.

May be trying to hide some cosmetic problem areas. Also looks like he gave the frame a once over without removing any thing off the top. Looks nice but doesn't have that "awesome" feel to it. Probably just wants to recoup his time invested in it.

Agree.

He probably showed pictures to hide it,too I'm guessing he didn't take anything off because the truck didn't need restored. It was obviously painted and the black on the frame would be to cover the overspray and make it more presentable.
