I agree. These newer trucks are going forever with just regular maintenance.

Re: How many miles will a 2000 chevy go

I had a 2001 Ext Cab 2wd that I got new with 3 miles on it in Mooresville, NC.
4 years later I turned it in with 365,000 miles on it. Only routine maintenance was done to it and I had no major issues. Original tires were generals and I got 74k on those. Next set was Daytons and I got 104k on that set. First brake job was at about 185k and both front/rear rotors replaced at 245k. I carried about 600-1000 lbs in the bed. These were parts and tools with a fiberglass topper. The weight in the rear created a more balanced truck which is why I got great wear on the tires and brakes. I covered 6 states with my job, Eastern NC, VA, WV, MD, Eastern KY and Eastern OH. So this truck saw a variety of terrain and not all flat ground. I wished I would have bought the truck from the company but bought an 04 Ext Cab 4x4 instead. I currently have 100k on it. Still moving right along as well. With the right TLC these new trucks do extremely well.
