Fellow GMC guys

I need help with a little research project....I'm thinking of grafting the embossed GMC from an 47'-53' tailgate into my 76' Jimmy tailgate. Its a little gender neutral for my taste now. But I'm working with limited space between body lines. What I need to know is the height of the GMC, before I start looking for an rusty tailgate to cut up. So, if anyone would be kind of enough to hold tape measure up their tailgate...I would be most appreciative of your help.
