Im Noooo

Looking forward to meeting some cool people with the same interests. Trying to build a body dropped '79 crewcab single wheel, on a one ton frame. Slowly but surely it will get done... I havent even had it a year yet, it was traditionally body dropped but I trashed the cab and bed due to extensive amount of cancer, plus Im gonna go single wheel short bed instead of the longbed duall that it was originally, Its now down to bare frame, and Ive got a pretty decent cab I bought a while back no bed yet. The best part is the BBC 396 that will go in when its all said and done, punched .40 over, mild cam and some sort of power adder, havent decided yet.

Heres pics of the day after I brought it home...

We trashed the bed while it was still outside.

Re: Im Noooo

The cab I picked up for a wopping $50 bucks, I thought it was a great deal...
Pretty sure it was an old western hauler conversion, had a little western hauler dash plate on it.

A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.

Re: Im Noooo

The ducktail broke from trying to get it off the trailer into the garage, it was riveted in so it probably wouldnt have came off without a fight anyways.

Re: Im Noooo

Looks very cool already Yep, that was an old Hauler. I saw one not too long ago and it had the same roof treatment on it also. Stripes look the same too. There are some awsome trucks on here, these guys know how to build [ Squares ]
