I am also looking for a black center console in very good condition. If dtilly doesn't take it I would next chance. Could you send pics to dthurston02@cox.net also a set of black seat belts if you have them.

Consoles

Sorry, I have a maroon, blue, green, and a tan console. But, they do make a vinyl spray paint.

TIP

Consoles are fiberglass. GM painted them with automotive paint, nothing special, not vinyl paint. Just prime & paint, like you would any fiberglass part. A blue (or Maroon) one, with fresh black paint, looks a lot nicer than a 30-year old black original. Good rattle can paint does a nice job, too. You guys are making this too hard.

Sent paypal payment for the black belts.
Please let me know when you send them out.

BTW, the belts are from a 67 - 72 and all three, correct?
(you know what happens when one assumes).

Thanks.

Whatever happened to the tailgates???

boytoy,

I don't know about consoles, but you started a thread about tailgates a couple of weeks ago. Here is a link.

I am still interested in the GMC tailgate if I did not miss the boat.

Under dash wiring harness? Want fuse box with no rust on contacts and legible writing. Prefer unhacked or very limited cutting. Dash on mine has fuel, oil pressure, ammeter, temp. I don't know if that's a 'guage dash' or not.

Also would be interested in the engine and forward harnesses if in good shape. I'm going to rewire it, but mine's pretty hacked, and better to start with something in decent shape.

Thanks.
