WTB 67 vintage 17.5 wheels

Looking for two 17.5 wheels with the clips for 3/4 ton caps like these. These are on a 67 I bought, not sure if they are original to the truck. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: WTB 67 vintage 17.5 wheels

I saw a set of these at Pick-a-part the other day but they we on a 65 or 66 3/4 truck-I would think they would be the same-if you can find out let me know and I could help you get them. PAP sells any rim 16" or bigger for 35.99 +tax with or without tire( that sucks because years ago they were always $9 rim only) anyways my zipcode is 91739 and you know what they weigh so let me know if you want me to pursue it. Re: WTB 67 vintage 17.5 wheels

Hi Steve, that would be great. I've never seen these on a 67/68 but the truck has 5.13 gears so it needed all the help it could get! Sharpie

Re: WTB 67 vintage 17.5 wheels

Looks like there is still some pretty good rubber for 17.5 wheels. Most of the choices are heavy duty like 19.5 tires. Sharpie

19.5's? Were they dual wheels? Split rims? Thanks for checking, Sharpie

Re: WTB 67 vintage 17.5 wheels

Both the 17.5s and 19.5s were options from back a good ways up through these trucks...at least. I helped a guy restoring a '68 K/20 that had,I think, the 19.5s and creeper gears. UPS ran them on their trucks for years. If you see any still around, look on GM StepVans.

I've got two that I'm pretty sure are the same as yours. Took them off a '59 3/4 ton Napco 4x4 I had, not sure if they were correct for that truck.
