I'm trying to be all sneaky and buy another set of upper A-Arms for my '71, because it is badly in need of new balljoints and control arm bushings.

I figure if I get another set of A-Arms, I can put the new bushings in myself and it'll take 1/4th the time.

So, in other words, if you have a set of upper A-Arms that is laying around taking up space, I'd be more than happy to take 'em of your hands in about a week or so.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I have one for the driver side ... will check but pretty sure the other is still there too. Someone already pulled the lower arms before I got the truck.

Lots of 67-70 and 71-72 front end parts,71 left and right upper a-arms with good ball joints and shafts 30.00 + shipping.

Dangit MOTHER-T,

As I was just responding to another Board Member's inquiries regarding this post I will attempt not to tell you the whole sordid tale.

Suffice to say that, as usual (ask Sakonhtr, GMCBlue, and several others) I can't buy anything at the moment other than food (Top Ramen), gas, and pay the rent. My computer is dying, my transmission and front suspension are falling apart on the truck, I have to buy about three or four hundred dollars worth of military equipment for Annual training because someone broke into my apt. and stole most of it. In short, I don't have the money... again.

I'm not going to be able to afford anything other than the above until after I get back from Annual Training for the Nat'l Guard, which will be around the beginning of August.

I sorely wish that I could buy that stuff from you, I really really do. Once again, apologies all around.

P.S. I'm 28 years old. Am I going to constantly have crisis' popping up for the rest of my life? (No need to answer, I already know. The answer is Yes.)
