That is pretty much it... The 3.1 is a stroked 2.8 and the 3.4 is a larger bore 3.1.

Engine____Bore_______ Stroke

2.8_______3.5"________ 3.11"
3.1_______3.5"_________3.31"
3.4_______3.62"________3.31"

Although the older years of 2.8s also had smaller bearings and piston height decreased by ~4mm (12cc dished pistons used) in the 3.1s.
