Where does the fiber optic cable plug in?

one end to the pointer behind the perndle, the other end to an insterment panle light in a special socket. It has provisions for the cable, and is normally on the inner light on the fuel guage side.

I removed the screw from the perndle, does the one end just sit inside. Sorry for asking again. Does anyone have a pic? Instrument Panel side is self explanatory. Thanks

the screw goes in one end and the other end should have little tabs that slide in.

And make sure it seats in the pointer housing real good. I used some JB weld to hold it in. If it pops out and tangles up in your column (like mine did), you'll have to fish it out, which can be pretty tricky.
