Truck cover anyone?

What are you using for a cover when your truck is not being used? My truck sleeps outside for weeks at a time and I want to get a cover for it. I see ebay has some for 170 bucks but I was wondering if you guys have a cheaper solution. I found a universal one for my caprice and the fit is bearable for the 20 bucks I paid for it. I would just get another one of those but what will happen with the water when it rains? If youcan give me some suggestions and or some pics of what your using.op

Re: Truck cover anyone?

I have the better one that LMC sell's, happy with it so far. My girlfriend made rack type thing she set's on the bed rails to hold it up so the water runs off. I have a S10 sit'n at my brother's, he pick'd a cheap cover localy for it, last it went thru two of em, the cheap ones just fall apart .

Re: Truck cover anyone?

I use a Covercraft brand, I think the model name is WeatherGuard. It wasn't cheap and was nearly 3 times the 170 figure in your post. Water beads right off my cover keeping the truck dry 24/7. I was tired of buying covers that did little more than keep dust off. After a friend of mine bought one it made a believer out of me. Now I have one my wife can sell at the estate sale. LOL.

Several colors are available.

Re: Truck cover anyone?

I use a couple canopys @ $329 to park my stuff under then use a cheaper cover to keep the dust off them.

Harbor Freight has a 10x20 fully enclosed at a good price I've gotten good feedback on, It's on my list for the 97.....

I bought one from autozone... around $75... I use it for indoors, but I believe its made for outdoors as well.
