I put new bushings in my C20 factory sway bar and it made a world of difference. If your bushings are shot that is the way I would go. I think I paid about $40 for aftermarket bushings (blue color, probably polyurethane). It was a big fat diameter bar, but a C20 is a lot heavier truck than and C10, so I bet your stock bar will do the job fine with good bushings. I sanded and painted the bar black while I was at it. I don't know if a fatter diameter bar will upset the geometry of your light weight front end.
