Grille Guards/Bull Bars

Ok I searched first so I didnt get flamed. Im thinking of putting a bull bar on my 80 C-10 so I can run fog lamps (Fog here in the panhandle of NE is pretty thick)m yeah I could switch to HID headlights but not sure how much rewiring id have to do to keep from melting things down. If anyone has pics or knows where I can find one Id appreciate it.

I found a used one on CL and got it for like $20 if I recall. I like the looks of them myself.

Re: Grille Guards/Bull Bars

I cut down a military grille guard. It was bent and I only wanted the middle "bull bar" part..

Re: Grille Guards/Bull Bars

those look good. Was wondering if anyone converted one of those new Westin bars to fit the 73-87 bumper. Kinda like the looks of them.

First, Holy cow, another west nebraska-er.

2ndly, I know this isn't what you asked for, but these lights on my grillguard have made a Huge difference cuttin through the fog or even late at night with little moon out in the country.

Re: Grille Guards/Bull Bars

LMC has new chrome ones but they are like $250-$300 IIRC. That's why I haven't bought one.
