WIW- two tens and custom cabinet

I picked this up for supper, supper cheep. Got it from a friend who used his own equipment. It was made for Chrysler 300m, but I am sure that is not as important as the equipment.

It has two Alpine Type E 10" measures, 30" 1/2 w X 13" t X 12" d @ base. I am not selling it here. I was thinking $100 sounds fair... But I have no idea....? I really wanted to use it, but money talks more now.

How can I tell? This thing is pretty heavy. And I know it was built professionally by a shop.

Take out one of the subs or one of the connector cups and measure the wood. Not sure if you were asking about the wood type too but, if you have ever seen/used mdf, you should know what it looks like vs other woods.

Re: WIW- two tens and custom cabinet

MDF has no grain to speak of. It's what most built it yourself furniture is made of.

It is 3/4" mdf and it seems to have two chambers.
