steering colum

Hi folks. I am redoing the interior on my 68 C-10. It has a 1973 350 engine with a 350 automatic transmision. it was changed from a 6 cyl. I presently have a b&m shifter on the floor ( in rough shape ). My steering colum is from a standard truck?. I would like to put a steering colum with the automatic shift back on the colum?. What do i need to look for?. what year? and what is involved?. Thanks for the help. Russ

Re: steering colum

Hi Russ, you should be able to pick up a complete column off the parts section pretty reasonable and the shift linkage parts as well. Osterne had a nice column very well priced. I'll add the link for you. The 69-up columns have a two piece shaft, but will work fine for you.

If you want to be factory correct the 67/68 columns have a one piece shaft like these.

Hope this helps, Sharpie
